Yet another victim of the ‘green’ madness!
160 kg of explosives sent one of the most modern power plants in Germany into oblivion.
The powerful Moorburg was opened in 2015 and could generate up to 11 terawatt-hours of energy per year, meaning it could single-handedly supply energy to the entire city. The construction cost €3 billion.
But already in 2021, in the name of eco-madness, the plant was shut down, and now it is being demolished altogether.
A green hydrogen generator is planned to be installed on the site of the former power plant, which is expected to be operational by around 2027…
